- When the set-up is complete you will have a new program group called CopyReport and a new CopyReport icon on your desktop.
Note: If you have installed an earlier version of CopyReport and you wish to retain the data you have entered so far do not uninstall the earlier version.
Step 2 - Activating CopyReport
- Double-click the CopyReport icon on your desktop to start the program.
- Next, you will be asked to indicate your location (UK, Eire, Germany or Nederland) and your customer type (church or school). Your selection here is important since it will determine how CopyReport is configured.
- The My Details tab will now be displayed.
- Enter details about yourself, your church/school and your licence expiry date. Please enter your customer reference number and licence number(s) in the correct boxes since we will use these to match your report with your record on our customer database. Click on Save Changes towards the top left of the screen.

Step 4 - Submitting your Report
You should submit your CopyReport to CCLI at the end of your licence period, ideally at the same time as you renew your licence(s). Click on the Reporting tab at the top of the screen. There are 3 ways you can submit your completed report to CCLI:
- Internet - This will send your report direclty to CCLI via the Internet. Once the process is complete, a message will be displayed saying 'Report uploaded successfully'.
- Email - This process asks you to select a place to save the CopyReport file and then automatically attaches it to an email using your own email program. NB: Some email programs may warn you that another program is trying to send an email.
- Post - By using the Save As option you can save your report file locally and then copy it to a CDR or Floppy Disc which can be posted to us.
Step 5 - Resetting CopyReport
- When you renew your licence(s) for another year you will need to reset CopyReport in order to report song and publication reproduction during the new licence period. At this stage you can also choose to print or save a copy of the previous report for your own records, but be sure to do this before you undertake the reset process.
- The Reset option is at the bottom of the Reporting tab. Click on this option to remove all the ticks and Write Ins you have entered during the licence period just ended. Your licence expiry date will also be updated.
Note: Once you have gone through the reset process, use the Show Previous Years options on the Reported tabs to view the songs reported in the previous licence period. You may find this option speeds up the process of reporting songs you are using again.
