CCLI Owner Agreements

When you first signed with CCLI you would most likely have signed agreements for just the region in which you are based. As your songs become more popular, you may find they start to be used in other countries, or you may decide to publish a songbook of your work. CCLI offers agreements for each of these scenarios and more in many countries. The agreements we currently offer are listed below. Church Copyright Licence (CCL) Song Owner Agreement

(Available for Europe, North America, Asia Pacific & Africa)

By signing the CCLI Owner Agreement for Europe, you would be permitting churches and schools within the UK & Ireland who hold a CCL (Church Copyright Licence) to reproduce the words of your songs freely for worship purposes, and to record services for non-commercial purposes.

Within the rest of the world (for those countries in which we are currently operating), and for North America, Asia Pacific and Africa should you choose to sign in these regions also, you would be permitting churches with a CCL to reproduce your songs freely for worship purposes and to make customized arrangements for non-commercial purposes.

Music Reproduction Licence (MRL) Song Owner Agreement

(Available for the UK/Ireland and South Africa)

By Signing the MRL Song Owner Agreement, you permit churches and schools within those regions who hold an MRL licence to photocopy songs owned or administered by you from any music publications registered with CCLI to aid congregational/collective worship.

If you publish songbooks then you will also want to consider the MRL Publication Owner Agreement

Music Reproduction Licence (MRL) Publication Owner Agreement

By signing the MRL Publication Owner Agreement, you would permit churches and schools who hold an MRL to photocopy any songs registered with CCLI from your music publications to aid congregational/collective worship.

(Available for Australia & New Zealand)

By Signing the PCL Song Owner Agreement, you permit churches and schools within those regions who hold a PCL licence to photocopy songs owned or administered by you from any music publications registered with CCLI to aid congregational/collective worship.

By signing the PCL Publication Owner Agreement, you would permit churches and schools who hold a PCL to photocopy any songs registered with CCLI from your music publications to aid congregational/collective worship.

SongSelect Distribution Agreement

(Available for the UK/Ireland, North America, Asia Pacific & Africa)

Following the success of our SongSelect product in North America and Asia-Pacific, and in response to requests from churches and song owners, we have now launched an exciting new resource in the UK & Ireland called SongSelect Distribution Service which allows customers to download and print lyrics and lead sheets.

We are currently only offering this service for the top reported songs used globally, and we will contact you as and when we feel you fall into this category.
