"CCLI er bra, bl.a. for at de gjør det så enkelt og smidig for meg som lovsangsleder å benytte sanger på en lovlig og korrekt måte. For meg som sangforfatter er det også en trygghet at sanger forvaltes på en bra måte gjennom CCLI’s arbeide."

Showing Film Scenes Licences for Itinerant/Mobile Workers

Showing films

If you are visiting other churches and you intend to show films (either film scenes or entire films) you may need to obtain permission from the copyright owner.

This is because pre-recorded videos and DVDs that you can buy or rent from shops are only intended for personal home use, not public viewing such as in your church building, hall or bookshop.

As CCLI is an agent to Christian Video Licensing International (CVL), you don't need to contact every copyright owner each time you would like to show a film in your church.  Just follow the simple steps below:

  1. Check that the producers are covered by the licence scheme.
  2. Choose which licensing option you need.
  3. Apply now!

When showing films don't forget:

You Can
You Can't
