 Licences: Church Video Licence (CVL), PRS for Music Church Licence and PPL Church Licence
Showing films as part of your church activities can be a great way to bring your congregation together and to bring people into your church as part of your outreach programme.
By holding a PRS for Music Church Licence and PPL Church Licence you are also permitted to play music in your church for a whole host of activities at no extra cost. Click here for more infomation about playing music at church.
With the CVL/PRS for Music Church Licence/PPL Church Licence you can:
- Host film nights for your congregation.
- Show films in your children's and youth meetings.
- Show films in your church and invite people to bring their friends.
Don't forget to check out the film producers to make sure they are covered in the licence scheme.
Licence Fees:
Licence fees are based on your average aggregated attendance at your main service and you can view them from here.
Damaris has just launched Viewfinder, a new outreach service resource which uses film clips to explore big issues. This is designed to enable churches to reach 18-30 year olds (which research by the Evangelical Alliance has identified as a missing generation in many UK churches).
