Photocopying from Publications at Church

Making photocopying legal
Photocopiers are commonplace in many churches today making it easy for leaders to photocopy from a wide variety of study books, song books, magazines, etc.
Whether it's for teaching the worship band a new song, training the new generation of leaders or learning drama scripts, you must seek permission from the copyright owner to reproduce any of their work – even if it's only used once.
Contacting every copyright owner each time you wish to reproduce their material can be time consuming and costly. CCLI has simplified matters by offering two licences which permit you to photocopy direct from books, magazines and other publications.
Looking for ideas? With the appropriate licence you can photocopy:
Each licence is specific to the type of publications you wish to photocopy. These are:
- Produce hand outs of your sermons to your small group leaders.

- Provide games and quizzes for your children's or youth work.
- Hand out sheet music so your worship group can take copies home and learn new songs.
- Hand out photocopies of drama scripts so everyone can learn their lines.
