Easter is a special time in the church calendar as we remember Jesus’ death on the cross and joyfully celebrate the victory of His resurrection.

Hymn writers such as Isaac Watts in the eighteenth century, George Bennard in the twentieth century, and Stuart Townend in the twenty-first have each written wonderful hymns to capture the essence of these important events, with songs such as When I Survey The Wondrous Cross, The Old Rugged Cross and the resurrection hymn, See What A Morning.
