Installing CopyReport for Microsoft Windows PC

Insert the enclosed CD-ROM into your CD drive.

In Windows the CopyReport menu should aoppear automatically. If the menu does not start automatically,hold down the windows key and press R. Type D:\AUTORUN.EXE in the text box provided, and click OK. If your CD drive is not configured as drive D, substitute with the appropriate letter.

From the CD menu, select 'Install CopyReport'.

Select the language you wish to use from the list, click ‘OK’ and then click ‘Next’.

Read the licensing agreements and if you agree, select ‘I accept the terms of this licence agreement’ and click ‘Next’, else click ‘Quit’ to cancel the installation.

You will now be asked for a location to install CopyReport. If you are happy with the default location, click ‘Next’, or select another location by clicking ‘Browse’. If you are advised that ‘The target directory will be created’, click ‘OK’.

You will then be asked for a location to store your settings and reports. If you are happy with the default location, click ‘Next’, or select another location by clicking ‘Browse’. If you are advised that ‘The target directory will be created’, click ‘OK’.

The program installation will now take place. When the upper progress bar indicates ‘Finished’, click ‘Next’.
NB: If you already have a version of CopyReport 2 or 3 installed, you will be asked if you wish to migrate your old data to the new installation. Click ‘Yes’ to retain your data. You wil also be given the option to uninstall the old version of CopyReport.
When prompted, click 'Next'.

Next you will be asked where to put shortcuts (the icon you click on to open CopyReport). We recommend you leave the setting of ‘all users’ on the right hand side and leave both options ticked at the top (Start menu and Desktop). In some cases, if Start menu is not ticked, no shortcuts will be created. Click 'Next'.

When you see ‘Installation Finished’ click ‘Done’ to exit the installer.

Open CopyReport by double clicking the CopyReport icon on your desktop.
