Are you looking for new ideas on how to communicate the gospel to your children? Read on for ideas on how to do just that in an inspirational, exciting and affordable way. Using Films Have you ever considered using films for outreach or hosting films nights for the children or youth in your church? Or how about using film scenes in your children’s work to deliver multi-media presentations? As commercially available videos and DVDs are purely for private use you are unable to show films in your church without the appropriate cover. But with the Church Video Licence (CVL) you can do just that. Distributors like Walt Disney Pictures, 20th Century Fox and Dreamworks SKG are all included so you can choose from the latest films (see www.ccli.co.uk for full list of publishers). Playing Music How about playing music in the background for mums and toddler groups, children’s and youth clubs? With the Performing Right Society (PRS) Church Licence your church would be able to play music for a whole host of events outside your normal church services including dances, karaoke, recitals and so much more. As many films these days contain music you may also need to hold a PRS Church Licence to show them in your church. Come and ask us if you need any more information. Photocopying Would you like to be able to photocopy from drama scripts and other non-music publications? The Church Licensing Agency (CLA) Church Licence is a very useful resource for research when preparing games, quizzes and newsletters. |
